Reimbursement for Kiwisaver Contribution
- From 1 April 2008 employers will be partially reimbursed for their KiwiSaver contribution with a matching tax credit up to a maximum of $20 per week per employee.
- The tax credit is claimed by the employer on the PAYE return
IR 345 Employer Monthly Deductions

A new IR345 form has been introduced for periods after 1 April 2008.
- The IR346 has been discontinued.
- Note the additional lines 10, 11 and 12 for the employer tax credit.
- Additional KiwiSaver fields have been added to the Electronic IR-File format.
