Christmas Day is on Friday 25th December 2009, with Boxing Day on Saturday 26th December 2009.
New Years Day is Friday 1st January 2010, with the day after being Saturday 2nd January 2010.
If Saturday is a normal working day for an employee, then the Saturday is a public holiday for that employee.
If the employee does not usually work on a Saturday, then the following Monday becomes a public holiday.
