Minimum wage increases today as usual. $23.95 is now the new adult minimum wage, and $19.16 the training & starting out rate.

Employees can request a rate reduction back to 3% with the IRD via myIR online for the coming 12 months if they want. If they are successful in that the employer too can match the reduced 3% rate.
